Abalone Tech’s Butterfly Drop Cable is a compact, lightweight fiber optic cable featuring a design where the optical fiber unit is positioned in the center, and two parallel strength members are placed at the two sides, all protected by a durable LSZH sheath. This unique “butterfly” configuration provides excellent mechanical protection while enabling easy mid-span access for FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) deployments. The cable is available in 1-core (1F), 2-core (2F), and 4-core (4F) variants to accommodate different connectivity requirements in telecom networks.
