Abalone offers a variety of box and cassette type splitter modules and products. This PLC Splitter Module is a plastic module called an ABS box with ruggedized fiber jackets of 2mm and up to 3mm with no connectors. Customized designs are also available for customer needs

The ABS PLC Splitter is based on planar waveguide technology and provides a compact, low-cost, and highly reliable optical power distribution solution for FTTH and passive optical network applications. The splitter supports uniform optical signal distribution with low insertion loss and excellent environmental stability.

Available in 1×2 to 1×64 split ratios, the PLC splitter can be assembled with SC, SC/APC, LC, LC/APC, E2000, and other connector types to meet different optical network deployment requirements.

The ABS PLC Splitter is widely used in FTTH access networks, GPON/XGS-PON systems, optical distribution networks (ODN), CATV optical transmission systems, and fiber optic distribution boxes.
