The OM5 Duplex Zipcord Fiber Optic Cable is a high-performance multimode fiber cable designed for short to medium-distance data transmission in high-speed networks. It features a zipcord (duplex) design, meaning the two fibers are joined side-by-side with a separable middle web for easy termination and handling.
OM5 fiber is optimized for shortwave wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM), allowing multiple wavelengths (850nm, 880nm, 910nm, and 940nm) to be transmitted over a single fiber. This makes it ideal for high-bandwidth applications such as data centers, enterprise networks, and telecom infrastructures.
