Planar light-wave circuit splitter (PLC Splitter) is a type of optical power management device that is fabricated using silica optical waveguide technology. It is used to split a fiber optic beam into several beams at a certain splitting ratio. It is an important passive device in the passive optical network.

Mini PLC Splitter features small size, high reliability, wide operating wavelength range and good channel-to-channel uniformity, and is widely used in FTTx, PON, GPON, XGS-PON, and NG-PON networks to realize optical signal power splitting as a low-cost solution. Abalone offers 1×64 PLC Splitters in multiple packaging options. All products meet GR-1209-CORE and GR-1221-CORE requirements.
